C/PEG is continually verified using a wide range of compilers, linkers and target evaluation boards. This ensures your development team will have no difficulty compiling and running C/PEG applications on your intended target. Compiler specific project and make files, along with ready to run example programs, are provided for many hardware evaluation platforms.
C/PEG supports a large range of screen resolutions and color depths. Targets with monochrome display capabilities through 256 color palette and packed-pixel mode displays are handled seamlessly. Further, screen mounting can be rotated or native orientation, or even swapped during product operation. This functionality is completely handled by the C/PEG software library and requires no modification of the application software. All screen drivers are supplied with the library at no additional cost. This ensures you will always have access to the right driver for your target hardware without the worry of incurring additional expense.
Along with output hardware support, C/PEG also provides support for user input devices. Drivers are supplied for various key and pointer input devices as part of the standard package. Keyboard input from standard AT style keyboards as well as custom target keypads and application soft keys are all supported. Pointer input from a wide variety of standard PC mice as well as touch controllers are also supported.
C/PEG is also completely ROMable, allowing the application to execute from FLASH or ROM memory, saving expense at the target level.
