Port Huron, MI – May 2, 2005 - Swell Software, Inc., a world leader in providing innovative GUI solutions for embedded systems, announced today an integration package and driver set for Freescale Coldfire MCF5485 microprocessor with the Coldfire V4e processor core.
The MCF548X family integrates a high performance Coldfire V4e processor core with a rich set of connectivity peripherals focused on industrial control and consumer networking. The MCF548X family also incorporates an innovative I/O subsystem along with the high performance Coldfire V4e processor core to provide high performance and system throughput. With this release, a variety of compilers and RTOS's are supported. This will provide embedded developers in the industrial control, medical and consumer networking industries the right tools for their application development.
A sample Demo can be downloaded from our website under the Supported Hardware section. The demo can be set up to run on 800 X 600, CRT, or LCD screens.
