Corporation (AIC) announced today that AIC will directly represent Swell Software, Inc., and the software product PEG (Portable Embedded GUI) in the Japanese marketplace. This relationship will make the PEG software available to Japanse OEMs who need a high-quality embedded graphical user interface solution.
The PEG (Portable embedded GUI) software package from Swell Software, Inc. enables customers to write advanced applications with windowing capabilities and a customized look and feel. The PEG class library and development tool set is designed specifically for embedded systems. PEG's small footprint, high performance and event-driven programming model make it perfect for today's multi-threaded embedded applications using LCD and video displays and controllers. PEG is delivered with a complete GUI Toolkit for embedded systems. The package includes WindowBuilderTM – automatic generation of source code for PEG Windows and dialogs, ImageConvertTM – converting and ROM:ing bitmap images, and FontCaptureTM – generation of proprietary fonts.
